Are you interested in marketing and would like to learn from professionals and leading academics about current trends in the marketing industry? We are delighted to announce the 3rd Annual Wharton Undergraduate Marketing Conference held on Friday, November 6th, 2009 at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania!

Theme: Competition
This year, the theme for our conference is Competition. Competition is the driving force in many industries and continues to push companies to excel in their field of interest. With this year’s economic downturn, competition will be the prime focus of both companies and students in an effort to gain share in the market’s great battle of perceptions. The 2009 WUMC endeavors to provide multifaceted views on the subject through the participation of both academics and industry experts.

Case Competition
This year's conference will also include a case competition. To participate in the case competition, you will need to sign up in teams of 2-3 people when registering for the conference (see Step 2 above). Case competition participants will receive the case prompt 5 days before the conference. Each team will submit a presentation. The top four teams will bring their presentation to the conference and present to a panel of judges. Prizes will be given to the top two teams. **Please note that all team members must have registered and paid all dues before a spot is secured for your team in the case competition.
