Wharton Undergraduate Marketing Conference

The Wharton Undergraduate Marketing Conference (WUMC) is a week-long event featuring select speakers and workshops that discuss targeted branding, finding opportunities, and the psychology behind marketing.

The event aims to allow undergraduate students to convey their skills, professionalism, and talents to recruiters in marketing, advertising, and retail through casual and formal conversation and case presentation during the on-campus recruiting season.

This year, the conference will take place the week after Spring Break, from Tuesday, March 18 to Friday, March 21, and include speakers such as Olivia Nelson, the Head of Music Product Marketing at Ticketmaster, and Will Nellis, the Global Music Curation & Discovery Editor at Spotify, and conclude with a Case Competition sponsored by McKinsey & Company.

 

Marketing Advertising Retail Conference (MARC)

Marketing Advertising Retail Conference connects company recruiters to students through various opportunities for close and interactive engagement. This day-long event includes coffee chats, a case pitch competition, a recruiter-student dinner, a networking dessert reception, and a career fair.

The entirety of the event aims to allow undergraduate students to convey their skills and talents through multiple levels of communication and professionalism, whether it be through casual conversation, formal case presentation, or social interaction. All in efforts to connect recruiters to the top students on campus for the respective industries of marketing, advertising, and retail, this event will offer both sides a means to stand out in the midst of the On-Campus Recruiting season.

American Marketing Association (AMA)

MUSE is the American Marketing Association’s chapter here at the University of Pennsylvania. The AMA Collegiate Chapters Council and Collegiate Chapters Division offers our chapters and members numerous opportunities for professional development. As a proud member of the AMA Chapter and 2018 AMA Platinum Chapter of the Year, MUSE takes part in the AMA’s International Collegiate Conference every year and leverages this network to connect with more than 70 local professional chapters across North America.
